So Long 2011...

2012 will start in a few hours time... Yet i  left 2011 with many unfinished resolutions. Of course there will be new and different challenges in 2012. I pray to Allah that i'll become a better person in all aspects of life as to have a good reward in the Hereafter... Amin... Allahumma yassir walaa tu'assir... Semoga Allah permudahkan jalanku sepajang 2012... Selamat Tahun Baru 2012...

A Quite Big Pouch cum Pencil Case...

Petang tadi sampai magrib plak pulun jugak buat pencil case yang dah dijanjikan utk niece yg nak masuk year 1 next year...Actually, besok dorang nak singgah...tu yang otomatik leh siap...haha...betape i need the urgency baru leh jalan keje... Bile dah siap, cantik gak sbb kain cantik, tp sayang, nak cepat siap, malas letak batting...hmm...

22/12/2011...My daughter is 2 today! Selamat Hari Lahir anakku sayang...semoga menjadi insan yang berguna, anak yg baik, wanita yang solehah dan berjaya di dunia dan akhirat....I love you sooo much!

Untuk birthday baby tu, memula niat nak wat jamuan jugak, kire punye kire, survey punye survey, mcm mahal n dia xpaham pun lagi...so, just beli kek, amik gambo...beli kek yg dah siap plak tu...next year kite wat meriah sket yea!! Just to add some fun, i prepared cupcakes from felt to decorate the small 'table'...simple jek...tgk kat mag Sew Hip! here are some pics of the birthday celebration yg baru berlangsung tadi...

Stop Buying, Start Working!

The title above is just a reminder to myself not to buy anymore books! Dlm sebulan ni byk pulak beli buku about sewing nih (and 1 buku memasak yg dah lama pending nak beli '1hari 1resepi by Hanieliza tu'). Yang nak cite kali ni pasai magazine handmade yg dr Taiwan kot tu VS handmade living dr UK...walaupun yg Taiwan lg murah, tp rupe2nye, yg tulah lg berbaloi2 beli...byk sangat examples plus how to make each of the example...yg dibeli ni byk pasal how to make bags (quilting)...so, next time, i mean 3-4months pasni, lehla beli lagi...for now kena stop dlu sbb projek xjalan...td just buat pincussion yg sgt simple and satu coaster yg simple yg diambil patternnye dr buku first yg dibeli for this year which was Sew Retro...baru nampak hasilnye...:)

Oooo....Terung Telunjuk....

Ade ke org jual terung hijau? Tak masak lg... Husband aku tak jawab pulak... Hmm...Xtau jugak la tu...
Dapatla bwk balik sket 'terung hijau' ni...org yg bagi tu kata wat pajeri, aku xpenah mkn la pajeri mcm ni rupe...i ni peminat pajeri terung...hmm...pg td xtau sgt nak wat pe ngan terung nih, browse le internet, dptla 2-3resepi dr tukang masak yg dah expert mcm  resepisedap-nennie.blogspot.com/  

dan satu lg web lupe lak nama nye...so,terung telunjuk nama sayur ni yea...huhuhu... i pun watla terung telunjuk, improvise, kena letak kentang sbb ade byk n sbb my lil baby nye lauk xde lg... ;)

Hasil Hari Nie...

This evening i managed to get some of the things in my wishlist. Thank to En. Azan...hmmm... Hutang my hubby dlu...huhuh...isk2..erm...bought the sewing machine, Brother XL 2630, Olfa cutting mat, walking foot, kain felt 5small pieces... mahal jugak kat situ ek...sib tokeinye a quite friendly lady....hmmm...so, dah dpt sume, xdela membazir cuti sek yg masih ade about 2 weeks nih...i hope so...

Sewing Books...

I went to Kinokuniya yesterday...in less than 30mins i was able to get 3books which are packed with sewing tips, patterns, etc...but then, had to let 1 of the books...like what my husband said, beli satu satula...hehe...tp, bile dah belek last night, rasa xpuas, mcm nak beli lg...xsabarnye...so, pasni kena jimat, maybe once in 2-3months time, i'll get to buy a book...the 2books worth RM133sth...hmm...1 tu utk pelbagaikan kegunaan serger, another, with 40over simple projects by Cath Kidston..tajuknye Sew!

Panels...

Got 3 panels which are bought from Ebay... Yang 1 dah tau nak wat ape, maybe comforter for my nephew... insyaAllah..tapi, don't know when can i start sbb mesin jahitnye belom direpair/dibeli...hmmm...yg 2lagi....kunun mcm nak sell je...hmmm..we'll see...will upload the pics later...

Brother kah, atau Singer kah??

Cuti sek dah berlalu selama 2mgu... Mgu pertama still had to go to the school, week 2, went back to kampung in Kemaman, now, dah setengah in week 3....
No sewing projects yg dah dibuat, even otak dah pk mcm2 simple bnde yg nak dicube....konon2 dlu nak attend kelas pun, lum jumpe lg tmpt yg bleh g blajar...
Actually, mesin mmg xleh jalan n mcm nak kena beli baru...
So, at first, i thought of buying Singer machine je, but bile browse some forums on the net, ramai yg kata brother yg better, cheaper n mcm2...tp kat fesbuk in a group that i just joined, sume kata singer yg bagus..hmmm....mana satu ntah nak beli...mcm nak brother jek... :)))
